    FTP tests

    Run a test to estimate your Functional Threshold Power. After the test you can set or decline the suggested FTP.

    20-minute test
    One 20-minute all-out effort. Most accurate for experienced riders. FTP = average power × 0.95.
    Start test
    8-minute test (2×8 min)
    Two 8-minute efforts with 10 min recovery. Good for novices. FTP = higher average × 0.90.
    Start test
    Ramp test
    Power increases 20 W each minute from 100 W until failure. Best with a smart trainer in ERG mode.
