Information We Collect

• Account information: When you sign in (e.g. with Google), we collect your name, email, profile image, and an identifier from the provider.
• Workout data: Workouts you create, perform, and save in the app, including interval structures, performance metrics (power, heart rate, cadence), duration, and timestamps.
• Health & Fitness data: Heart rate data from connected monitors, power output from smart trainers, cadence from sensors, and other performance metrics collected during workouts. This data is stored securely and used only to provide workout tracking and analysis features.
• Device data: When you pair devices via Bluetooth (e.g. smart trainer, heart rate monitor, or cadence sensor), we read real‑time metrics required to execute the workout. We do not access devices without your explicit action and device permission, and you can disconnect at any time.
• Location data: The mobile app requires location permissions to scan for Bluetooth devices (required by Android for Bluetooth Low Energy scanning). We do not collect, store, or transmit your GPS location.
• Third‑party integrations: If you connect services such as Strava or Garmin, we process authentication tokens and workout data needed to sync your activities in accordance with those services' terms.
• Usage information: Basic analytics and diagnostics (e.g. feature usage, errors, crash reports) to improve stability and performance.

How We Use Information

• Provide core features like building, performing, and analyzing workouts.
• Provide training insights and progress analytics.
• Enable optional integrations (e.g. Strava) when you choose to connect them.
• Maintain the security, reliability, and performance of the service.
• Communicate important updates related to your account or the service.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with trusted processors strictly to provide the service (e.g. cloud hosting, authentication, error monitoring). If you choose to connect third‑party services like Strava, their processing is governed by their own policies.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can delete workouts at any time. You can request account deletion to remove associated personal data, subject to legal or operational requirements.

Account Deletion

You have the right to delete your account and all associated data at any time. To delete your account:

1. Log in to your account on VeloWorkout.
2. Navigate to your Profile page (accessible from the user menu).
3. Scroll to the "Danger Zone" section.
4. Click the "Delete Account" button and confirm your choice in the dialog.

Upon confirmation, your account record and personal data (including workouts, plans, and history) will be permanently deleted from our servers. This action is irreversible.

Your Choices & Rights

• Access, correct, or delete your workouts from the app.
• Disconnect devices and third‑party integrations at any time.
• Request account deletion and associated data removal.
• Control browser permissions for Bluetooth devices.

Security

We use industry‑standard measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we continuously work to safeguard the service and your information.

Childrens Privacy

VeloWorkout is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, please contact us to remove it.

Changes to This Policy
