How this stage was measured
The course comes from ASO's own published geometry, the same data that draws the stage map on letour.fr, not from a route planner joining towns. VeloWorkout measures 19.4 km against the 19.6 km the roadbook prints, and 200 m of climbing against a published 200 m. Elevation is sampled from the Terrarium elevation model and smoothed, so digital-model noise is not counted as climbing.
Waypoint positions agree with ASO's separately published climb positions to a median of 0 m (worst 0 m).
